Lover's Project
Salt and Sage is producing Troilus and Cressida and Antony and Cleopatra in repertory.
Asae Dean will direct both with the assistance of Heath Hyun Houghton. Rehearsals begin April 8th and the shows run from July 18th to August 17th. Performances are at Shaking the Tree Theatre in SE Portland. Please note that Antony, Cleopatra, Octavius, Troilus, Cressida, Thersites and many other roles are already cast though there are several gems still open including Hector, Helen, and Enobarbus. We are looking for versatile actors, as most will be asked to take roles in both, with a love of text. All actors receive a stipend.
When & Where: Auditions are from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday February 23rd at the Shoebox.
What to Bring: Prepared contrasting monologues under 2 minutes in length. Optional: 30 seconds of a song you would love to sing and an instrument you play.
