Alex Albrecht
Alex Albrecht is thrilled to be back with Salt and Sage this summer as Hamlet and Paris. Previous SAS roles include: Caesar (Antony and Cleopatra) , Diomedes (Troilus and Cressida), Hector (Troilus and Cressida), Doug (Gruesome playground injuries), Henry Henry (Brilliant Traces), Laertes (Hamlet), Sebastian (Twelfth Night), Parolles (Alls well that ends well) and Theseus (Midsummer nights dream). |
Alexander Buckner
Alexander Buckner (Laertes/Prince) is an actor who has lived in the Portland area for 16 years. Some of his favorite roles include Childs (The Thing: A Stage Parody) and Leon Trotsky (All in the Timing) Though he usually finds himself in comedic roles, Alexander is enthused to be dealing in death and despair for once! |
Allison Anderson
Allison Anderson is returning to Salt and Sage, ready for the exhilarating challenge of working in repertory. She previously appeared with Salt and Sage in Antony and Cleopatra, Troilus and Cressida, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, and Coriolanus. Allison has a long history working in Shakespeare, and has had the great fortune to meet some amazing characters over the years, including a few favorites: Cleopatra, Lady McBeth Adriana, Orsino, Ophelia, and Gertrude (a couple of times). How amazing we get to return to sharing space on stage and with an audience. |

Ashlee Radney
Ashlee Radney (Juliet, Ensemble) originally from Denver,Colorado. Ashlee recently completed an acting apprenticeship at the Portland Playhouse, where she appeared as Lavinia in Titus Andronicus directed by Tina Packer.

Bobby Bermea
Bobby Bermea (Friar/Polonius) is a playwright, journalist, actor, director, and deviser. He is the co-artistic director of the Beirut Wedding World Theatre Project, serves as a member of the leadership body of Sojourn Theatre, and is a long-time member of Actor’s Equity Association. Bermea has literally performed in theatres from New York, NY to Honolulu, Hi. Based in Portland, Oregon, he has won four Drammy Awards for his acting and been nominated for another one for his directing. Bobby Bermea appears courtesy of Actors’ Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States.

Cory Huff (Guildenstern/Tybalt) appeared most recently with Salt & Sage as Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Bertram in All's Well That Ends Well. Other Portland-area credits include Hamlet (Marcellus/Lucianus) at Post 5, MacBeth (Macduff) at Bag & Baggage, and Titus Andronicus (Demetrius) at Northwest Classical. Cory also cofounded Mormon Redneck Productions, which focuses on producing plays by Latter Day Saint playwrights that explore the tensions between faith and art. MRP has produced multiple shows for Fertile Ground, including Hancock County, Facing East, and Mormon Redneck Thespian. He has a BFA from the University of Utah.

Intergalactic Trans Celebrity Juliet Mylan (Mercutio/Horatio) is an actor, writer, and comedienne. Fresh off her tour of the moons of Epsilon Eridani, she's been turning heads and proboscises. She makes her home in lovely Portland, OR, Earth in dimension Sigma Sigma 937 Alpha where she likes to deprogram the local fauna, garden, and play with her pet Dragon. Juliet Mylan's credits include Allie in The Queers by Mikki Gillette with Fuse Theatre Ensemble.

A native Chicagoan, she has worked with over a dozen theatres throughout the Chicagoland area, including Harper Theatre Ensemble, Gorilla Tango, Drury Lane, 14th Night Players and the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Recent work includes Sense and Sensibility (Fanny Dashwood), As You Like It (Rosalind), Hamlet (Hamlet), Twelfth Night (Viola), The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Linda Lou) and Jack & the Beanstalk: A Panto Adventure (Jack Trott). Laura is a company member of award-winning Chicago-based burlesque troupe Crescent Moon Nerdlesque. She holds dual B.A. degrees in Acting and Costume Design from Illinois State University.

Megan Haynes is Ophelia in Hamlet and Benvolio in Romeo & Juliet. Megan (she/her) is overjoyed to find herself onstage once more. She was last seen in Speculative Drama’s 2019 immersive production of Hamlet (Fortinbras, Player), as well as Oregon Adventure Theatre’s As You Like It (Le Beau/Audrey). Megan received a BA in Theatre from Miami University of Ohio in 2015, and went on to study at Portland’s own The Actor’s Conservatory, graduating in 2018. She would like to thank her mentors, her mother, and everyone else who helped her through the past three years. It’s great to be creating live theatre again!

Murren Kennedy is Romeo in Romeo & Juliet and Rosencrantz in Hamlet. Previous roles include Talk Show Host in Measure of Innocence with Bag&Baggage, Marlowe in Shakespeare in Love with Lakewood Theatre, Hector “Heck” Finn in Tom(boy) Sawyer with Quintessence Theatre, Ollie in All’s Faire with Action/Adventure Theatre, Banquo in Macbeth and Longaville in Love’s Labour’s Lost with Portland Actors Ensemble, and an Irishman and a very lost Brit in two shows with Portland Revels. Murren is a graduate of Portland Actors Conservatory (Class of ’15).

Peter Platt (Ghost/Player King/Gravedigger/Lord Capulet) is delighted to return to the stage after an 8-year hiatus. Most recently, Peter appeared in Macbeth (Banquo) with Northwest Classical Theater Company, and in The Taming of the Shrew (Lucentio) and The Tamer Tamed (Petruchio) with the Portland Shakespeare Project (at Artist’s Repertory Theater). Outside of Portland, Peter appeared as Macbeth in the titular play with Bag & Baggage productions, and as Don John in the “Bard in the Quad” production of Much Ado About Nothing at Oregon State University. Prior productions at Oregon State University’s Withycombe Hall include The Tempest (Antonio), the Merchant of Venice (Antonio), and All’s Well That Ends Well (Lavache). Peter’s formal training includes scene work with Michael Nehring and a Midsummer in Oxford Shakespeare intensive (BADA) in 2008.
